About This Blog

Hi! My name is Lori Anderson and I am the owner, designer, and crafts person of Anderson's Treasures. Anderson's Treasures is a small business selling handmade jewelry, handmade cards, handmade scrapbooks and baby books, bookmarks, magnets, 3D decorations, lighted glass blocks, party, wall, and seasonal decorations...and so on...everything is handmade. I have a shop on Facebook (you will find a link to my shop above) and I also sell locally. I have been crafting for years and really enjoy working with my hands. Designing and crafting jewelry, cards, scrapbooks, etc., is a great creative outlet for me. I have great passion for what I do. The pieces have to speak to me. They have to make sense and evoke emotion. I do become attached to my pieces. I love my pieces. I would never craft an item that I would not wear, use, give, or send myself. Please fill free to take a look around my blog, visit my gallery links for pictures of all my creations, comment, "like", "follow", "share" my posts, drop by my store and perhaps purchase something if you like, and please...tell your frineds!!! ;) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to either leave a comment, or message me at andersonstreasures@yahoo.com

Mother's Day 2013 Cards! :)

I've been somewhat busy this week making some Mother's Day cards. I also created Anderson's Treasures Facebook Shop...a shop on my business Facebook page. Check it out sometime! :) I'm just getting it started...I do have cards and jewelry sets in there...but hope to have much more in there soon. I have to get back in the swing of this awesome craft game now that I somewhat have my craft room back!!! :)

I posted some new pictures in my Paper Craft Gallery of the Mother's Day cards I've made this week. I also posted the picture of a card I made for my Sister-in-Law.

I'll give you a sneak peak of one of the Mother's Day Cards...but please do go check out the other pictures.

This is called a "Step Card" so go to the gallery and check out the side view and the surprise in the middle!!! :) I used SVGCuts' "Cards for Mom" kit for this card. I cut the card out with my Sizzix Eclips cutting machine. If you haven't heard of SVGCuts and use .svg files in an electronic die cutting machine...go check them out...they are very reasonably priced, offer a cool free file each week, have amazing files and kits that are just gorgeous, have superb customer service, and very awesome and easy to follow videos! I just can't praise this company and the talented couple that own and operate it enough!!! :)
