About This Blog

Hi! My name is Lori Anderson and I am the owner, designer, and crafts person of Anderson's Treasures. Anderson's Treasures is a small business selling handmade jewelry, handmade cards, handmade scrapbooks and baby books, bookmarks, magnets, 3D decorations, lighted glass blocks, party, wall, and seasonal decorations...and so on...everything is handmade. I have a shop on Facebook (you will find a link to my shop above) and I also sell locally. I have been crafting for years and really enjoy working with my hands. Designing and crafting jewelry, cards, scrapbooks, etc., is a great creative outlet for me. I have great passion for what I do. The pieces have to speak to me. They have to make sense and evoke emotion. I do become attached to my pieces. I love my pieces. I would never craft an item that I would not wear, use, give, or send myself. Please fill free to take a look around my blog, visit my gallery links for pictures of all my creations, comment, "like", "follow", "share" my posts, drop by my store and perhaps purchase something if you like, and please...tell your frineds!!! ;) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to either leave a comment, or message me at andersonstreasures@yahoo.com

Invitations! ;)

Just finished making 4 dozen invitations for my Church's Lady's Winter Social and Cookie Swap! ;)

Here is the front of the card:

Here is the inside:

The back...with my stamp:

I made the envelopes as well:

Matching set!!! ;)

These invitations measure 4X4. I made the envelopes because I couldn't find the right size. Luckily we are handing these out at Church instead of mailing them! I found out after I had the card bases and everything else already cut for this size, that you can not mail a 4X4 envelope through the USPS! Ugh! ;) The paper is from Paper Studio, and I used my "Joys of the Season" Cricut Cartridge to cut out the snowflake with my Cricut Expression. I stamped "You're Invited" in Blazing Red StazOn Ink, Azure Blue StazOn Ink for the snowflake on the envelope, and used Stickles on the middle of the snowflakes to add a little extra bling! ;) There is a green brad in the center of the white snowflake. These invitations were so fun to make!!! ;) Two new tools I used and decided I could no longer live without...the Crop-A-Dile Big Bite (used to make the holes in the snowflakes), and the We Are Memory Keeper's Brad Tool (to help open the brads without killing your fingers)! These two new tools made this project so much easier!!! ;)
